CANDLE CARE TIPS

To help maintain the longevity and performance your candle will provide, we recommend the following candle care tips:

Trim the wick to ¼ before lighting before the first use.  Between uses and only after the candle is completely cool, trim the wick to remove the soot before the next use.  Because we use all-natural ingredients such as a cotton wick, coconut wax, essential oils and fragrant oils the wick will become dark with soot. Don’t be alarmed this is a normal organic reaction to extreme heat. Never leave a burning candle unattended, avoid drafts and always place out of the reach of children and pets.  Always allow the melt pool to reach the edges of jar before extinguishing.  This allows a good burn and prevents tunneling.  We suggest burn time of at least 3 or 4 hours and never burn more than 8 hours at a time.   Our candles are hand poured in small batches in Los Angeles to ensure the greatest quality.  There are no Phthalates in our candles.
